In September, the spirit of friendship between China and South Africa blossomed in Pretoria as the Chinese Embassy in South Africa hosted a grand reception to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. As an outstanding representative of Chinese-funded enterprises operating in South Africa, Afritop Group was honored to be invited to this high-level diplomatic event, joining guests from all sectors of both countries to witness this significant occasion.
The reception brought together more than 200 distinguished guests, including H.E. Mr. Wu Peng, Chinese Ambassador to South Africa, representatives from South African political, business, academic, and media circles, as well as representatives of Chinese-funded institutions and overseas Chinese communities in South Africa. In his address, Ambassador Wu Peng reviewed China’s remarkable development achievements over the past 76 years and highlighted the fruitful outcomes of cooperation and exchanges between China and South Africa across multiple fields.
